Second ANNUAL RIDE TO REMEMBER
Thank you to all who supported our Ride to Remember motorcycle event
this past Saturday in the lakes region. It was a spectacular day with
good weather and great participation. The committee was led by Anne
Hebert with assistance from Ron Hebert, Cindi Bush, Lisa Woods and many
others. A big thank you goes to Stanley Brothers from the Ossipee
Bike Club who provided leadership and rules of the ride as well
as recruiting two New Hampshire State Policemen, Dave Kane Troop A and
Jay LaPointe, Troop C to escort our ride. We thank the
48 people who came out to ride and the 15 20 volunteers on hand to
support this event. Our hosts at Laconia Harley Davidson in
Meredith were amazing once again providing tent, tables, chairs,
advertising and barbecue lunch for all. They even gave us the contents
of the tip jar from the free meal! Because of many generous sponsors ,
riders and donors I am pleased to say that NHHPCO raised a little over
$2,000 from this event to help carry on our mission!
