FIRST ANNUAL RIDE TO REMEMBER
The weather was spectacular in the Lakes
region for our First Annual Ride to Remember on Saturday July 31st,
2010. Twenty four riders were escorted by two N.H. State police officers
for the ride around Lake Winnipesaukee ending with a cookout at the
Laconia Harley Davidson Dealership. NHHPCO raised a little over $1,000
and have gained a following for this event in the future. We thank Anne
and Ron Hebert for their leadership, as well as expertise and support
from Stanley Brothers, Cindi Bush, Lisa Woods - volunteers from Beacon
Hospice, Community Health and Hospice in Laconia, VNA/Hospice of S.
Carroll County and many others. Our very special thanks to Ross Houston,
Laconia Harley Davidson General Manager and his Executive Assistant,
Amanda Creelman for hosting this event, providing the barbecue and
numerous donations.
Our participants were riding
in memory of the following people:
Mike Brothers, Lucie C. Garrett, Tish Mallory, Arthur & Roena Moses,
Heather Peaslee, Heather Siebert, & Uldene Williams.
