4National Center for Death Education located at Mount Ida College, Newton Massachusetts, has an extensive summer series of workshops and courses,
    held both online and on site. Their summer workshop series is being held this year from July 25 – 29th. They feature nationally known speakers and

The National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses (NBCHPN®) offers credentialing in this specialty for all levels of nursing (APN, Generalist Nurse, LP/VN, Nursing Assistant) and the Administrator.  The Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Association (HPNA) promotes training and resources to prepare for this certification.

Applications are processed for the corresponding testing window ONLY as indicated in the chart below.

The examination is administered by appointment only, Monday through Friday at 9:00am and 1:30pm.  Evening and Saturday appointments may be scheduled based on availability.  Candidates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.  The examination is not offered on holidays during the four offered windows (Labor Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).

Take the Everett Turnpike (RTE 3) south to exit 6 (Broad St, Nashua) and turn left onto Broad St. Proceed 7/10 mile and bear right onto Amherst St for 6/10 mile. Bear right onto Main St and proceed approximately one mile to Main Street Marketplace at 300 Main St. Plaza contains Shaws Market and will be on your left.

From the South:
Take RTE 3 north to exit 2 toward RT 3A/DW Highway/Hudson. Take the DW highway ramp toward South Nashua. Turn right onto Daniel Webster Highway and proceed 2.5 miles until you come to Main Street Marketplace at 300 Main St. Plaza contains Shaws Market and will be on your right.
