On behalf of the NHHPCO Board of Directors, the
nominating committee invites NHHPCO members to submit names of
potential Board candidates to the nominating committee. From
these submissions, the committee will develop a slate of
proposed members for vote by the active membership of NHHPCO.
Two (2) vacancies need to be filled this year. The bylaws state
that board composition should reflect diversity including
geographic, at-large community representation and disciplines.
Thus, nominees with experience in nursing home settings,
public policy/advocacy and fund raising are especially
desirable.
Completed nominations must be received by May
1, 2008. Any active NHHPCO member may nominate qualified
individuals. To make a nomination (or to submit your own
nomination) please follow the instructions and guidelines
printed on the NHHPCO web page (www.nhhpco.org). If you

submission of a completed nomination.

Timeline : the
following timeline provides the schedule for the
nominations and election process. The Board is committed
to offering opportunities for increased participation by
the NHHPCO membership, and therefore, has developed
three opportunities for voting: online, at the annual
fall conference, and at the annual business meeting.
